Project: A special lifting tool

CVS Ferrari turned to Eping to develop special equipment with inclined forks, specific for lifting road tunnel segments. The design idea was provided by CVS and the studio’s engineering department worked to offer the customer a product that met the specifications provided.

Suitable for large machinery, the equipment has been designed to withstand the lifting of 32 tons. The rear plate is designed not only to mount the forks in an inclined position, but also to resist stress and at the same time ensure good visibility for the operator in the cab. Another fundamental feature is the modularity of the equipment: it is possible to mount the standard cases for vertical forks instead of the inclined forks, giving the equipment a unique flexibility.
